Life: I suck!

I'm so sorry I've been neglecting you blogger.

You would think with my shiny new Baby Mac I would blog away the days. *sigh*

But nope, between the move, the boyfriend, the friends, the work and the paper, I still find ways to put off blogging. I'm a terrible blogger.

I've decided I need to get a little more organized. I'm doing less things this semester, which so far is going well. I'm feeling more relaxed and happy than I have for awhile. I feel like I'm in a much more positive place than I was last time I wrote. I just need to figure out how to read my calendar.

School is keeping me busy with a capstone class to my communication degree program as well as a photoraphy class. Photography is a test of my patience and understanding. I just don't seem to understand the professor or the assignments. Not to mention, I hate seeing my photos next to artists' photos. There are people in my class who call themselves artists!

Ahhh! I would rather make money writing, thanks. Maybe I'll ask if we can compare writing samples one day just so I can feel better.

I'm also doing a research paper on gender, sexuality and race in news coverage of Prop. 8. It's the first research paper I've done since 10th grade English. I think I'm going to spend more time going over what a research paper is than researching just so I can get it done.

I signed up for May Term so I'm staying in Salt Lake through the end of May for sure. I'm taking two biology classes "Sex in the Brain" and "Evolution, Creation and Intelligent Design." I'm excited!Luckily, worky work asked me to stay so I'll be able to live in my new apartment and pay the rent.

In other life news, I still haven't figured out what I want to do June 1. Last night I found goals I had written down for myself during my freshman year. I was proud to see I had already accomplished some of my goals (like owning my own laptop), but there are others I would still like to achieve and some that are no longer relevant. All I know for sure is I have to figure out a way to pay the bills.

So what advice and experience would you like to share with me?
